Especially For Newcomers
As friendly as most churches hope to be, it still can be a little frightening visiting a church for the first time! Questions such as these can pop in our heads: Will everyone know what is going on but me? Will people be nice to me? Is there a place for me here? Will my kids like it (and be well-cared for in a safe environment)? Will they ask me for money? How should I dress? Is it okay if I don't believe what everyone else seems to believe?
Whatever your background, especially if this is your first visit, we want you to feel comfortable. Here is a short overview of what you can expect.
Where We Meet
Our church is meeting at 1695 Piner Rd.Santa Rosa, CA. Please see our Contact and Directions Page for more directions.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the front door and given a Welcome Packet containing information about Living Word Family Church - what we believe, our purpose, our services, etc. Our greeters will help you with any questions you may have and will direct you and your children to the appropriate rooms.
"Come As You Are, You Will Be Loved!" Our desire is for you to feel comfortable and at home.
During our pre-service time we direct you to our video screen which may have supplemental announcements for the day or week. We then begin our service with about 25 minutes of worship. Rather than an organ or choir we have a live band. Some of our music has a pop feel, some more traditional. One way or another, you should have some catchy tunes to hum all week long.
After worship, we'll take up an offering, and mention a few announcements.
Pastor Larry then brings the anointed Word of God to life so that it meets everyone exactly where they are at. His message lasts somewhere between 40 and 50 minutes. His messages will focus on practical living based on a Biblical foundation for our everyday lives. After the message, you'll have the opportunity to receive prayer from our prayer team.
